Students worked hard this year with our "Hidden Treasures" pirate theme. They advanced ranks on a treasure map that represented their practicing throughout the year. They earned pirate "booty" (aka jewels) by remembering the Hidden Gems in their music (Notes, Rhythm, Dynamics, Technique and Expression), completing scales, passing off online theory assignments, memorizing pieces, participating in events throughout the year, earning practice keys and more!

I was so busy with the auction that I didn't get pictures of the students bidding etc... So here is their pirate picture frames that they got to take home to decorate and the auction goodies...
