Spring Recital Fun: Piano Olympics

For the last couple weeks we have been busy with the 3 P's- Prepping, Performing and Partying!

Prepping- We got together for recital rehearsals. After we went through our pieces, etiquette, performing tips, etc... we played the "Focus" game to see how well students can stay focused when playing their piece with little distractions that could happen. (i.e.: baby crying, cell phone going off, loud whisper...) We learned after this game how not only can it be hard to focus but we gain a better understanding why good manners and etiquette are important during these performance events.

The show must go on! Emma was a trooper playing one-handed!

Performing- Our Piano Olympics Spring Recital. We performed, displayed our Piano Olympic Flags and received awards earned!

Partying- Celebrating our hard work this year! We made Olympic Torches, played a rhythm body beat game, ate goodies and had a fun photo shoot!
